27 June 2026 (Saturday) 09.00 Kent Classic and Sportscar Group - The Moat, Wrotham, Kent ,TN15 7RJ

The Kent Classic and Sportscar Group will be featuring Bristols alongside vintage cars at their Breakfast event starting at 09.00 until 11.30. As in previous years, it will take place at The Moat, Wrotham, Kent ,TN15 7RJ, just off Junction 2 of the M20 and within easy reach of London. The pub serves coffee and excellent bacon rolls. The Group meets fortnightly at this venue on Saturday mornings, each one highlighting a particular marque or genre of car. It is very popular especially in the summer, often with quite exotic machinery on display. Bristol owners should be in good company. Ian Johncock will organise a run for members after the event, via a scenic route through Kent to the Cinque Port of Sandwich where we will enjoy a suitable pub lunch. A route map will be provided on the day. There should be time to explore one of England's best preserved medieval towns with its ancient walls and timber framed buildings, before lunch at a local pub restaurant. Afterwards we have been invited to stop off at the home of BOC member Barnaby Swire near Canterbury, who has kindly offered to open his car collection for us to view - consisting of some 50 motors including Bristols, Lancias, rare Peugeots and Rovers. This is an opportunity not to be missed and we are grateful to Barnaby for his generosity. Iain and Barnaby would be grateful to know how many to expect for lunch and the visit. Please contact Iain direct on iainjohncock@gmail.com if you plan to attend or require more details.
