Meet up at the Ace Cafe for this Bristol and Jensen marque get together.
16-17th August 2025 Scandinavian Weekend - Copenhagen
Danish member Paul Brüniche-Olsen has arranged a weekend of Bristol activities in Copenhagen. This Hygge gathering will include visits to two new world-class car collections in the Danish capital. The weekend is of course open to all members and it is hoped there may be some members from nearby Germany and the Netherlands who will join. There are seven members in Sweden, five in Norway and just Paul in Denmark and many of these are signed up already. Perhaps some British or other members will be on holiday in Scandinavia in August and come along, or might even make a special trip. Costs tbc, but approx 1,500DKK/200 EUR. Nick and Sarah Allen have again kindly offered us the use of their wonderful courtyard home for a CLASSIC CAR SUMMER BBQ on Sunday 24th August from 12.30pm at Watershed, Smock Alley, West Chiltington, Pulborough, West Sussex. RH20 2QX. This is the 13th gathering they’ve hosted at Watershed over the August bank holiday weekend for Bristol and Bristol engined cars. 18th to 21st September - Belgium Weekend - Poperinge
A long weekend in Poperinge, Belgium. Accommodation will be available at Hotel Recour in the centre of Poperinge. The timetable will be flexible, with one organised dinner on Saturday at Pegasus restaurant (attached to hotel). There will be suggestions for other events, including visits to Hop Museum and Ypres War Museum and battlefields, as well as recommended restaurants. 20th and 21st September - Castle Combe Autumn Classic - Chippenham Wiltshire SN14 7EY
The Autumn Classic returns, bringing competitive classic car racing to the South West. 2025 marks 75 years of Castle Combe Circuit, and there will be a featured display commemorating the first meeting that in 1950, as well as showcasing over 50 race cars from that era.Peter Campbell is once again organising the Bristol presence through the Bristol Owners Heritage Trust, and has registered the Trust for reduced price entry and classic car parking spaces for any Bristol or Bristol-engined car, including historic BMWs, at this popular annual event. To qualify for reduced price entry, tickets must be booked through the web via the Castle Combe Autumn Classic website https://castlecombecircuit.co.uk/shop/autumn-classic-festival-2025-general-admission-tickets/ using the special BOHT booking code BOHTAUTUMNCLASSIC25 . Drop in (no need to book) for a Wednesday get together from 11 and over lunchtime. Very informal get together with lots of Bristol chatter, and other visiting cars on occasion too. Contact is Chris Dady east.boc.net
5th October - Chelsea Arts Club Luncheon - 143 Old Church Street London SW3 6EB
The proceedings will start with cars displaying from 1pm with canapes and bubbles followed by a three course Sunday lunch with tea or coffee to follow. The price is £70.00 per head inclusive of wine, soft drinks and service. There will be a £2.50 surcharge if you choose the cheese board instead of pudding. 7th-9th October Wessex Weekend Wander - Beaulieu Inn Hotel, Brockenhurst SO42 7YQ
This year we plan to base ourselves at the Bucklers Hard, one option for this autumnʼs Wessex Weekend Wander in the New Forest Beaulieu Inn Hotel in the New Forest. Up to seven rooms are currently reserved for Wessex Wanderers. There is a choice of rooms so when booking please make your selection. The dinner, bed and breakfast rate for two nights in a classic room for two guests is £370.20 total (includes a 10% discount). Dogs are welcome for a small additional charge. If you would like to come, please book with the reservations team at New Forest Hotels on 0800 444441. The bookings team is very helpful. When making a booking please remember to say you are part of "Wessex Bristol”. 7-9th November NEC Classic car Show - Birmingham B40 1NT
Weʼll be back at the NEC in November for the UKʼs largest classic car show, with over 3,000 classic cars and bikes on display. As ever, volunteers will be needed. Please come along to spend a couple of hours chatting to show visitors and explaining to them why they should drive a Bristol and join the BOC. Please remember to quote our club code CCCNOV5344 to save £4 off single-day adult tickets or £2 off family, child or multi-day tickets. Book by 16th October and you will help the club earn additional benefits.

12th December 2025 (Friday) Chairman's Dinner - RAC Pall Mall
May June 2026 - European Tour - France and Italy (via Germany and Switzerland)
Following the tour of Slovenia this year, Chris Shaw has planned a tour with rather more emphasis on driving. The route will be to France and Italy (via Germany and Switzerland) from 19th May-6th June 2026. There will be the chance to visit three major motor museums, drive over two gorgeous mountain passes and visit wine regions. Whilst distances are greater most stays are for two nights to allow time for recovery and sightseeing. There are 13 places, we invite expressions of interest. A tour itinerary is available.
